Mission
Kilgore ISD school nutrition believes it is our responsibility to provide students with tasty, nutritious meals, follow high standards of food safety, offer the highest quality customer service and adhere to all the state and federal guidelines all while promoting a positive learning experience.
The goals of Kilgore ISD School Nutrition Services are to:

Improve the health and education of the students through a nutritionally and educationally sound food service program.
- Maintain and continuously develop high standards of school food service products and services.
- Unite school and community efforts to assure that every student is receiving the best school food services available.
- Recruit and train quality school food service staff to improve and protect the integrity of the service and product they provide for our students.
Having access to nutritious foods is an important part of a student's success in school.
To help ensure our students are adequately nourished and ready to learn, Kilgore ISD provides breakfast and lunch meals to our students at no charge. Students have a choice of one or more entrée items that include high quality proteins, two or more vegetables options, one or more fruit choices and whole grain rich products! Also offered variety of fat free flavored or 1% unflavored milk.

School Cafe Meal Payment System
Find your school lunch treasure starting October 15, 2024. School nutrition services will be hosting a weeklong treasure hunt for grades PreK=8th grade. A winner will be drawn from each grade who returns a completed treasure hunt form. The treasure will be a full tummy and a bounty of art supplies.
