Lunch Meal Prices

Each year, school nutrition services is required to evaluate the price for school meals. This is a requirement put forth by the USDA. We work very hard to try and not raise our meal prices each year. This year we find we are required to raise the lunch meal price for students K-5 to $2.25. We apologize for any inconvenience this increase may cause. Kilgore school nutrition services will continue to work very hard to provide the most nutritious, high quality, well prepared food for our students.
The Kilgore ISD School Nutrition Department will no longer be using chopped romaine lettuce or lettuce blends containing romaine lettuce for the remainder of the school year.  While it has been verified that KISD school nutrition does not have any products affected by the recall, it is out of an abundance of caution for our students, staff and community that we discontinue our use of romaine lettuce. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
