Kilgore ISD School Board Election - Saturday, May 6, 2023
CANDIDATE INFORMATION:
Kilgore ISD will be filling the following positions (3 Year Term Limit)
  • Place 1 - Currently held by Dereck Borders
  • Place 2 - Currently held by Jason Smith
  • Candidates must complete an application and Form CTA (Appointment of a Campaign Treasurer)
  • Candidates may pick up an election packet in person at the Kilgore ISD Administration office from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday at 301 N. Kilgore Street, Kilgore, TX  75662 or make a request to send packet via mail, email or fax beginning January 11, 2023
  • Applications may be submitted in person, by mail, email, or fax beginning January 18, 2023
  • Applications submitted by mail, email, or fax is receipt by filing authority or district designated agent, NOT postmarked
  • Deadline to submit an application & Form CTA is Friday, February 17, 2023 at 5:00 pm
  • A filing fee is not applicable

01/01/2023 – First Day to Apply for a Ballot by Mail

01/18/2023 – First Day to File an Application for a Place on the Ballot

01/23/2023 – Order of Election

02/17/2023 – Last Day to File an Application for a Place on the Ballot – 5:00 pm

02/24/2023 -- Last Day for a Candidate to Withdraw

02/27/2023 -- Ballot Position Drawing Monday, February 27, 2023 4:15 p.m. KISD Admin Bldg.

04/06/2023 – Last Day to Register to Vote

04/24/2023 – First Day of Early Voting by Personal Appearance

04/25/2023 – Last Day to Apply for a Ballot by Mail

05/02/2023 – Last Day of Early Voting by Personal Appearance

05/06/2023 -  Election Day
