Kilgore ISD 20-21 Calendar Unchanged by Winter Storms

February brought winter weather and a host of related issues to Kilgore schools. While students were not able to attend in-person instruction during many of these days, a mixture of planning, preparation and teamwork means that Kilgore ISD will not have to make up any of the missed days.

Due to hard work and planning by Kilgore ISD faculty, our students received remote instruction during the week of the storm. Additionally, Kilgore ISD’s academic calendar provides supplementary time in the calendar to allow for a limited number of interruptions throughout the school year. This foresight, plus inclement weather waivers received from the Texas Education Agency, will allow Kilgore ISD to continue with the 2020-2021 calendar without changes.
