Kilgore ISD has always believed that the best learning option for our students has been, and will continue to be, at-school, face-to-face with our classroom teachers. The advantages of at-school learning are tremendous in regards to academic performance and the social/emotional growth and well-being of our students.
KISD will continue to provide at-home remote learning services to our medically fragile students and students that must quarantine at home because of a positive Covid-19 test or determined close contact with a positive Covid-19 person. Parents or guardians may use this form to document their situation and request continued At-Home, Remote learning.
Kilgore ISD's "open enrollment" in the At-Home, Remote learning option will end on Monday, November 9, 2020. Only those students who have been approved to continue At-Home, Remote learning will be allowed to do so. All other current At-Home, Remote students will be expected to return to At-School Learning by Monday, November 9, 2020.
Upon submission of this form, Kilgore ISD will contact the family to determine the most appropriate educational setting for their student.
A separate form must be completed for each student.
If you would prefer to NOT submit documentation online, you may deliver them to your child's campus.
