DESTRUCTION OF RECORDS

School Year: June 2000– May 2001

Personally identifiable information which is maintained to provide educational services to students with disabilities will be destroyed seven years after the student is no longer receiving special education services, (if it is no longer needed to provide services to the student), unless the parent notifies the district otherwise.  Personally identifiable information includes, but may not be limited to referral data, notice/consent documents, assessment reports and supporting data, IEP team deliberations and supporting data, and the IEP.  Parents of students or former Special Education Adult Students with records on file for these years are advised that these records may be needed for Social Security Benefits or other purposes.  Records will be destroyed August 31, 2008.  

Información personalmente identificable que se mantiene para proporcionar a los servicios educativos a los estudiantes las invalideces se destruirá siete años después de que el estudiante ya es que la educación especial receptor repara, (si ya no se necesitaba proporcionar los servicios al estudiante), a menos que el padre notifica el distrito por otra parte.
