Purchasing Information for Prospective Vendors:
Kilgore ISD operates as a political subdivision of the State of Texas.
In order to satisfy all legal requirements regarding competitive procurement,
other than advertised competitive bid requests, the District participates in
the Region VII Education Service Center Purchasing Cooperative as well as
several statewide programs, including Buyboard, Texas CISV, TCPN, TXMAS, and
HGAC. If you would like to be added to the District’s vendor list, please
consider bidding through one or more of the cooperative groups. Not only will
this expedite the purchasing process, it will allow instant
access to hundreds of additional governmental and educational entities.
The widely used Region VII Purchasing Cooperative is
currently being used by at least 129 educational entities. For more information regarding the

If you feel your business/organization is a ‘sole service’ vendor,
meaning that the product or service provided by your business/organization can
not be purchased from any other source, please complete a KISD Notarized Sole
Source Declaration form found on the KISD web site under Prospective Vendors
and submit it to the KISD Purchasing Department at 301 N. Kilgore St.,
Kilgore, Texas, 75662 or you may fax the completed form to (903)983-3212.
