For class name, you may leave it blank...it is not important.
For description, name your works cited...you can call it anything you want. This is only for you to be able to find it in your personal folder. It will not print this name.
(click) Start Adding Citations
At the top of the page it will say "I am citing a..." and then you will have drop down boxes. This is where you will choose what type of source you are citing. Click the drop down arrow and choose the type...book, web site, encyclopedia, etc.
Follow the steps. Enter the information that you have. ALL of it is not required, just what is marked with the *. When you enter the authors name you will need to click "ADD" or it will not put it on there.
Once you finish entering your information, click “Generate Citation.” It will take you to a screen that will show your citation the way you entered it. You cannot click the back button to add more stuff. To change any citation, click the "EDIT" button.
Now, go back to the top where it says "I am citing a..." and start on your next citation. You will do all of your sources this way.
When you are finished entering all citations, you will click "Open in Word". This is located on the left hand side of your screen. It is the first selection under "Options".
Click "save it as an RTF document". This will open your Works Cited in Word. If you are doing this at home and have a pop-up blocker, you will need to allow pop-ups for this site. If you do not, it will not open.
