How to Renew Your State Board for Educator Certification
(This is the state board of educator certification website)
At the top of the page
click on SBEC online for educators.
Click Create an
account (if you do not have one)
Follow the steps to
set up your account
After setting up your
account look at the left side of the page for “Applications"
click on “renew a standard certificate”
Follow the procedures.
Have a credit card ready if you want to pay online.
You will be able to print out confirmation of your
application that is pending approval by the state board.
Your updated certificate should appear on line in a couple of weeks.
Be reminded that it is the employees’ responsibility to make sure that your certification
is current. (See contract for details)
