Steps 21 -23 are local steps.  Any new hires with > 20 years of experience will be placed in the pay scale at step 20 their first year with the district.

Raises for Employees on TASB Models
2009 - 2010

Kilgore Independent School District utilizes the TASB midpoint for determining raises for the majority of it's hourly employees, cafeteria workers, custodians and paraprofessionals.  This model bases raises on the average wage paid to employees in a certain group, accordingly the hourly raise for all employees in a group is the same.  Below is a listing of the hourly raise given for each of our employee groups on the TASB model.

To determine one's raise for the 2009-2010 you should take the number of days in your calendar times the number of hours a day worked times the increase in hourly rate above.  This number would be added to the 2008-2009 salary to determine the 2009 - 2010 salary.  There may be some rounding differences between the number you calcualte and your actual salary when you receive your salary notification.

 

 

Employees being hired for the current school year with greater than twenty (20) years of service

will be placed on the Kilgore Independent School District teacher salary scale at year twenty (20).
