Kilgore Independent School District’s desire is that each of its employees at
their retirement has adequate savings to allow them to retire and live in a
manner which they desire. As such, Kilgore Independent School District has
established a 403(b) plan allowing employees to set aside pre-tax dollars for
retirement purposes that will supplement the retirement provided through Teacher
Retirement System and Social Security.
In the past few years federal and state regulations related to these plans have
become increasingly difficult. As such, the District has initiated a
partnership between us and PenServ Plan Services, Inc. as our third party
administrator over this plan. Employees wishing to start making 403(b)
transactions or to make any changes to their current 403(b) must do so through
PenServ. Once approved the information needed at the District level will be
forwarded by PenServ to the District.
Below please find instructions (PenServ Web-Site Employee Setup) instructing you
on how to set up an account on the PenServ website, which will allow you to
conduct your 403(b) business. Remember prior to going to the PenServ website to
set up a new account and begin making contributions that you should contact the
approved vendor and have an account set up with them. If you prefer you can
print the forms from the list below and fax them to PenServ at 803-791-5925 or
mail to 103 Trade Zone Drive, Suite 30C, West Columbia, SC 29170.
