An organization of school food service people across the state. Texas School Food Service Association members number over 10,000.

On the local level, Kilgore School Food Service Association is small, but we hope for it to grow. With your membership, we will have 100% re-presentation in our area.

WHAT ARE OUR PURPOSES?

1. To improve the health and education of the school children through nutritionally adequate and educationally sound, non-profit school food service programs.
2. To maintain and further develop high standards of school food service.
3. To further the professional growth of members.
4. To provide for an exchange of ideas and a sharing of experiences and to promote cooperation and mutual help among the members.
5. To encourage and promote between school lunch personnel and the community such united efforts as will assure for every school child adequate school food service programs.
6. To promote interest in the recruitment and training of school food service personnel and to improve and protect their status.
7. To serve as a medium for the distribution of information between national, state and local associations.
