Determination of placement is made during a
hearing made up of student, parents and school officials.
School officials fax placement
information to ECAS with the length of placement stated in terms of “successful days”.
ECAS has a minimum placement of 20 successful days.

Typically the student starts the
placement the day after the interview is held.
