When to Keep Your Child Home


YOUR CHILD'S GOOD HEALTH IS IMPORTANT TO KISD!

 
Please do not send your child to school if they have the following symptoms:
 
*Temperature of 100 degrees or greater without fever reducing medications such as Tylenol or Ibuprofen
 
*Vomiting and/or Diarrhea
 
*Red/inflamed eyes with discharge
 
*Contagious skin condition such as staph, impetigo, chicken pox, scabies, or ringworm of the scalp
 
*Head Lice
 
 
If you are unsure whether to send your child to school, contact your physician or campus nurse.
 
Your child may return to school 24 hours after symptoms (fever, vomiting, diarrhea) have subsided.
